I did work on getting my panels put together. I had some help and it went pretty fast, so I didn't take any in progress pictures. This is what they look like, so far after the first coat of sealer on them, Golden's GAC 100. If everything goes as planned I should have this sealed, canves printed, and put together by the end of the weekend.

Not Getting Much Done

I have not gotten very far on either project. My frames are not fitting together right. I think I have got that worked out though, problem with the saw. Will find out tomorrow because I am going to work on them. Will try to post some photos of work in progress tomorrow evening.

Currently this is how I am framing and mating the Polaroid 600 Collection. A simple black mat and frame, it isn't bad, but it isn't exactly what I am looking for.

I have a couple of ideas:

1. I found some faux finish paint, Sophisticated Finish, that I have ordered that will give a patina and rust finish to items. My thought is to print the images on canvas and stretch it across a piece of masonite and then use the faux paint on the frames. I hope to get the paint in the mail this week so that I can have some examples posted this weekend.

2. The other idea is to take and print the image in sections about 10x10" stretch it around a frame to create a larger piece that will be around 30x30". Something like this...

This one is going to take a little more work.
